Taxing That Bronze Glow for Healthcare

Not that I use tanning beds, and aside from the fact that I don't trust them and always discouraged my daughters from using them, nonetheless . . . .

Isn't adding a tax to a service used pretty much exclusively by one race pretty much the embodiment of racism?

Just sayin'.

  2. I used to be a part owner in a tanning salon. This tax would have put us out of business.

I personally don't tan, but I am completely opposed to singling out one industry for a tax hike. Who tans? Mostly middle-class white people. Can you imagine if African Hair Braiding Salons were singled out for a 10% hike?

Racism works both ways. It's time for more people (*cough* Eric Holder) to acknowledge that.

  5. Kristin -- excuse me while I turn blue, holding my breath, waiting for Holder to acknowledge something -- anything!
