Happy fourth birthday to the Young Prince of Moogie's Mansion! There will be some pretty good treats, but no birthday crown. He refused to wear the birthday crown. Rather emphatically.
I just love the one of him when he was a puppy playing in his water dish. He used to love to play in water dishes so much that I had to get one of those enclosed numbers for the kitchen after I got fed up with cleaning up gallons of water all over the place!
I looked high and low for a party hat with an elastic strap (or a Burger King crown!), but to no avail. You'd think he would appreciate the fact that I was willing to share my 50th birthday crown with him. At least I didn't subject him to the wizard hat. He doesn't like Dumbledore.
Let us contemplate our forefathers and posterity, and resolve to maintain the rights bequeathed to us from the former for the sake of the latter. -- Samuel Adams
Envy is always referred to by its political alias, "social justice." -- Thomas Sowell
Curse you, Red Baron! -- Snoopy
The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of miseries. -- Winston Churchill
It's people! Soylent Green is people! -- Charlton Heston
Moogie, I love dog pictures.
ReplyDeleteAnd dogs.
Well, most of 'em.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. That is one handsome animal! I'm getting a black one again next time.

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Bouie!
ReplyDelete(and I wouldn't wear that crown, either.)
Bouie says thank you, Buck.
ReplyDeleteGeez, you guys are all so picky, picky, picky!
Ain't ya got a more macho-lookin' crown for that fine dog?
