Our Dogs Are Family

A 15 year-old, 35 pound beagle dog leaves an awfully big hole in your heart when she moves on to chase rabbits across the Rainbow Bridge. Rest peacefully, sweet Wendy Whiner.

  1. My condolences and I understand completely.

Some day I will have the nerve to tell the story of my best friends' demise, one of whom was with me for at least 15 years. It hurt for a good long while.

  3. I with ya. I get choked up sometimes just thinking about the fact that I'll be lucky to get another 5 years with my two doggies. I'm getting a little choked up even typing this...

  6. Moogie, I understand. I often choke back tears while thinking about the Reeves family canines that are no longer with us. Seriously.

When I was a kid we had a basset...his name was "Elvis." Then we got two beagles. Their names were "Tammy & Loretta." (Daddy was a country music guy.)

I'm sorry Moogie. I know you will miss Wendy something awful. They really are family to us.
