Transparency in a world of changeable hope. The young president's administration promises a new era of transparency in government, but there's a catch.
It's only transparent from the inside out.
I wonder if he can see the protesters and the states lining up to declare home rule?
Someone remembers the 9th and 10th Amendments!

Well, that's one of the very best things about President Obama's election -- finally, we have some clarity about the issues and there are people who are genuinely concerned about the 9th and 10th Amendments.
ReplyDeleteI find this very exciting. It was unbearably depressing during George W. Bush's tenure to have to listen to so-called "conservatives" favor federalizing education under centralized control in Washington, D.C. And it was beyond depressing -- over to nauseating -- to hear GWB explain in September 2008 that Big Government was here to rescue us from the Stupid Free Market, which was "frozen."
Now at least conservatives aren't trying to tell me, "We're the government and we're here to help you." That's progress.
There has never been a party that more richly deserved to have its butt kicked than the Republican Party in November of 2008. They had sold out everything they supposedly stood for.
Now maybe they'll remember.
